Life is but a Netflix queue... TRUE

WHO RUNS THE WORLD?.....LADY MACBETH! My Netflix (and chill) suggestions for the big and bad, Lady M: Bound:  A movie about a woman whose boyfriend is a violent gangster. Violet and Caesar are entranced with their passionate love affair and decide to run away together, with two million dollars that they've stolen. This would be a great movie for Lady Macbeth because of her  ties with the blood-thirsty Macbeth. They love each other even through their problems and set-backs. During their killings, they stay true to one another and have each other's back (especially Lady Macbeth). I believe that Lady Macbeth would like the movie because she could relate to the main character and loving the "bad boy". How to Get Away with Murder:  When Annalise Keating and five of her students become involved in a murder case, they have to figure out a way that they don't get caught by the authorities. PERFECT for Lady Macbeth! She loves murder and always seems to find her...

4. How does the values of manhood differ in modern times? What do you think it takes to be a  good man ?  Explain how your views are like or unlike those in the play, using examples from the text. First I want to start off the response with MEN ARE TRASH!!! And I 100% do not want the few boys of IB (another piece of evidence that infers men are trash) to comment that "no we aren't" and "im not like the rest", because you ARE(except if your name is Danny). Okay to actually see my answer, keep reading!  In the play, masculinity is determined by one's stature and role in their society. Macbeth is seen as a great man, war hero (who faced an entire army), and (up till this point in the play) a loyal Thane. This is what makes up a valued man. Their ability to succeed requires them to be of royal stature, and to keep their name as king for a substantial amount of time. This is why Macbeth is so eager to kill Duncan, Banquo, etc.; he wants his legacy to...

I AM NOT A GOOD ARTIST PLEASE DON'T MAKE FUN OF ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY DRAWING ACTUAL DRAWING Artist: Peter Binoit Title:   Still Life with Letter Pastries Date: 1615 Period/Culture/Context: This was painted in the 17th century, where still life paintings were very popular works of art. Binoit was a still-life painter during the Baroque era (period of artistic style that included motion). He was a German painter that worked on Frankfut am Main and Cologne; meaning he was a famous painter. Subject/Iconography: In the painting, a meal is shown with loaves of bread, olives, a type of meat, and what looks like white wine. The still life is normal and insignificant based on the time period. Most artists would set up food or a person, and paint what they see, giving as most detail as possible. When someone requested a still portrait, that usually meant they were of a higher status or were more wealthy than others. A still life with just food as the subject, was...

Author: World Wildlife Fund Date: 5/5/2016 http://talentista.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/7/2016/05/Effective-Advertisement-For-Saving-Animals-29.jpg Denotative: When first glancing at the picture, my eyes immediately went to the cute baby cheetah walking beside her mom. Then I saw the two sizes small and extra large written on a tag which is placed on both of the cheetahs. The background is pretty simple; it looks like the animals' natural habitat with lush greens. In the corner there is a sentence that states, "Fashion claims more victims than you think.", followed by the organization that posted the ad: WWF. Connotative: This picture is very powerful and eye-opening. The tags on the animals that I mentioned before, represents the tags that would be on people's clothes in a clothing store. This shows living, breathing animals in their environment and ultimately show that the buyers market just sees them as shirts or coats. The organization (WWF) is a nonpr...

What's in a name?

BRIANNA HELEN My first and middle name come from both sides of my family. Brianna stems from my dad's name "Brian", and my middle name Helen comes from my aunt; whose middle name is also Helen. My aunt was named Helen after the Greek God, Zeus's daughter Helen of Troy. She was known as the most beautiful girl on the planet and was respected by all. My dad wasn't named Brian for any significant reason other than the fact that my grandma liked the name, but he named me Brianna after himself. I believe that since that it comes from my entire family, my name symbolizes me. Family means everything to me, and the fact that I am a symbol of them because of my name, it means even more. As Anna Quindlen said, "there are two me's, the me who is the individual and the me who is a part of the family of four..." Beowulf is also shown battling between his two characters. He is a strong and powerful hero, while at the same time fight so many monsters a...

πŸ˜›πŸ˜›πŸ˜› 😸😸😸 Summary:  This photo shows a black man standing in front of what seems to be his house, holding his young dog. It was taken between 1997-2000 (the exact date is unknown by the photographer), in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The picture shows the man in a comfortable position with his dog behind his table that has a couple of beers on it. In the background, you can see trees and a fence, which we can infer is his home since his dog is with him. He is shown smiling in the middle of the picture, holding his dog up by the neck. In the photo description, the man in the pictures states that his dog is wearing the chain around his neck to strengthen his back muscles. The man told Huie that he wants his dog to be big and threatening to protect him and his house from harm. He also said that at first, his dog didn't like the chain around him but now he is used to it and will grow into the neck wrapping. Wing Young Huie, when taking photos, wants to present people as they want to...
